The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs:- "A) Quashing the order dated 8.10.2015 issued under the Signature of the Deputy Secretary, Industries Department, Bihar Patna by which the said authority has rejected the claim of the petitioner relating to dues payment of t his salary allowances, in revised pay scale, with interest admissible under the law.
B) For a direction to the respondents to make payment of entire dues amount of salary to the petitioner.
Patna High Court CWJC No.6163 of 2016(2) dt.12-10-2023 2/2 (c) For a direction to the respondents to make payment along with with 18% interest on the dues salary amount payable to the petitioner."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law. Liberty, so sought, is granted.

The writ petition stands dismissed as not pressed.
