The petitioner has been in custody on his remand since 20.11.2017 in connection with Paras Bigha P.S. Case No. 19 of 2016 registered for the offences punishable under Section 394 of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he was arrested in December, 2016 and, thereafter, remanded in several cases. So far as the present case is concerned, on the basis of his confessional statement made before the police, he has been remanded in connection with the present case. It is further submitted that till date, no T.I. Parade has been conducted regarding the present case.

No.26785 of 2018 (2) dt.18-05-2018 In view of the aforementioned facts and circumstances of the case and that the confessional statement made before the police has no evidentiary value, let the petitioner above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Jehanabad, in connection with Paras Bigha P.S. Case No. 19 of 2016.
