Learned counsel for the petitioner is permitted to remove defect(s), as pointed out by the office, if any, within a period of four weeks from today.

The petitioner seeks anticipatory bail in connection with S.T. Excise Case No. 1076/2022 (arising out of Chatapur P.S. Case No. 340/2021), registered for the offences under Sections 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise (Amendment) Act 2018.

It has been submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner on the strength of annexure-2 that he is physically handicapped and the certificate shows that the disability is 80%. It is also submitted that the recovery is from the scooty which was being used by the petitioner's children and he has no role.

Let the petitioner, above named, in the event of his arrest/surrender within four weeks from today in the court below, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge Excise, Supaul in connection with S.T. Excise Case No. 1076/2022 (arising out of Chatapur P.S. Case No. 340/2021), subject to the conditions as laid down under section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
