1. Heard learned counsel for the parties concerned.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner retired from the Deepnarayan Singh Mahavidyalay, Bhusia, Rajoun, Banka, being run by the Governing Body affiliated to the Tilkamanjhi University (now Bhagalpur University). But during his service

Patna High Court CWJC No.3480 of 2023(2) dt.11-01-2024 2/3 period, the grant-in-aid given by the State Government has not been paid to the petitioner. The period for which the petitioner is entitled for payment of grant-in-aid is from 2009 to January, 2016. The petitioner had earlier approached this Court in CWJC No. 13390 of 2018 for payment of grant-in-aid and this Court vide its order, dated 07.01.2019, directed the petitioner to file a representation before the respondent no. 4 i.e. the Registrar, Tilka Majhi Bhagalpur University for redressal of his grievances. The representation of the petitioner has been disposed by a reasoned order vide Memo No. 511, dated 26.06.2020, by the Registrar, Tilka Majhi Bhagalpur University.

Learned counsel further submits that the petitioner has filed representations, annexed at Annexure-7 series, before the Registrar of the University including the Principal of the College concerned after the order, dated 26.06.2020, passed by the Registrar, Tilka Manjhi Bhagalpur University. The representations of the petitioner are still pending.

4. In view of the submissions advanced by the learned counsel for the parties, this writ application is disposed

Patna High Court CWJC No.3480 of 2023(2) dt.11-01-2024 3/3 with direction to the Registrar, Tilka Majhi Bhagalpur University, to consider the representation of the petitioner in light of the order, dated 26.06.2020, within a reasonable time frame and dispose the same in accordance with law after giving opportunity of hearing to the Principal of the College and the petitioner.

5. With the aforesaid observation and direction, this writ application is disposed.
