Heard the counsel for the parties.

The petitioner seeks bail in anticipation of his arrest in connection with Sitamarhi (Mehsaul O.P.) P.S. Case No. 525 of 2020, dated 05.10.2020, instituted for the offences under Sections 452, 341, 324, 307/34 of the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.25677 of 2021(2) dt.28-04-2022 2/2 Indian Penal Code.

The petitioner is said to have assaulted the informant by means of a knife as a result of which he has received grievous injuries.

It has however been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the F.I.R. has been lodged after unreasonable delay of eleven days without any explanation and that he has been falsely implicated in this case because of some dispute which he has with his agnate, the informant. Notwithstanding the aforesaid submissions, regard being had to the fact that the petitioner is said to have caused grievous injuries to the informant, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to him.

The prayer for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner is, accordingly, rejected.

The application stands dismissed.
