Petitioner, already in custody, seeks bail in connection with Sheo Sagar PS Case No.17 of 2017, giving rise to Sessions Trial No.358 of 2017, registered under Sections 147, 148, 149, 323, 385 and 486 of the Indian Penal Code as well as under Sections 13, 17 and 20 of the UAP Act.

The petitioner is named in the FIR and specific allegation is that Poklen machine of the informant's company was set on fire by him and other unknown persons on account of not giving the levy and the petitioner has several criminal antecedents.

Having considered the aforesaid facts and circumstances, prayer of bail of the petitioner is rejected in

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.26226 of 2018(2) dt.03-05-2018 2/2 connection with Sheo Sagar PS Case No.17 of 2017, giving rise to Sessions Trial No.358 of 2017, pending in the court of learned Additional District & Sessions Judge-VII, Rohtas at Sasaram with a direction to the trial court to expedite the trial.
