The petitioner, already in custody, seeks bail in connection with Bisfi P.S.Case No. 17 of 2018 registered under Section 379 of the Indian penal Code.

Allegation in brief is that informant's motorcycle was stolen by unknown thief, petitioner was apprehended later on and leading to his confessional statement, stolen motorcycle was recovered from his house.

Having considered the aforesaid facts and circumstances, the prayer of bail of the petitioner is rejected. However, trial court is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same preferably within a period of nine months. If the trial does not conclude within the stipulated period, petitioner may renew his prayer of bail.
