2. Petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Phulwariya P. S. Case No. 166 of 2024 registered for the offence punishable under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

3. As per F.I.R., 108 liters county made liquor was recovered from a bag.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that No incriminating material has been recovered from conscious possession of the petitioner and he is no way connected with the aforesaid recovery. Petitioner has been made accused in this case only on suspicion. Petitioner is in custody since 07.01.2026. Charge-sheet has already been submitted.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State vehemently opposed the bail application and submitted that petitioner has got 17 criminal antecedents out of which 14 are of similar nature.

6. Considering the recovery and criminal antecedents, prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.

7. However, since petitioner is in custody since 07.01.2026, Trial Court is directed to expedite and conclude the trial, preferably, within a period of one year from the date of receipt/production of copy of this order.
