Petitioner, already in custody, seeks bail in connection with Gaya Civil Line PS Case No.340 of 2016, registered under Sections 419, 420, 467, 468, 469, 471 and 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code.
Allegation in brief is that the transaction that is deposit of money and withdrawal was made from the bank account of the informant, his brother and wife. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that such huge amount was not deposited by the informant and his family members. It is further submitted that at the relevant point of time, the petitioner was General Manager and such transaction was not supervised by the petitioner rather by officers of the
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.26384 of 2018(2) dt.03-05-2018 2/2 junior rank and petitioner is already a retired person and has no criminal antecedent except one case of similar nature lodged by the wife of the informant.
Having considered the aforesaid facts and circumstances, petitioner Subhash Chandra Jha is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned CJM, Gaya in connection with Gaya Civil Line PS Case No.340 of 2016.
