2. The present petition has been filed for the following relief(s):- "That this is an application for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing and commanding the respondents to make necessary correction in the Admit Card and Result Sheet of Secondary Teacher

Patna High Court CWJC No.3547 of 2026(2) dt.17-03-2026 2/3 Eligibility Test (STET) Examination, 2025 in which name of Husband of the petitioner has been typed in the column of father of the petitioner and further direct the respondents to provide the corrected Result Sheet of the STET Examination, 2025 to the petitioner.

And/ Or for issuance of a writ/order/direction for which the petitioner may be found legally entitled to under the facts and circumstances stated herein under."

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the instant application has been filed for making correction in the name of father's column wherein, inadvertently, name of the petitioner's husband has been mentioned for which appropriate representation with all supportive materials before the Examination Controller of Bihar School Examination Board, Patna, have been filed but till date no action has been taken.

On the other hand, learned counsel representing the Bihar School Examination Board by referring to the application form appended as Annexure P/1, and Admit Card as also the result so published by Bihar School Examination Board which are also appended as Annexure P/2 and P/3 respectively to the writ application, submits that in the column of father's/husband's name, the name of only father will be

Patna High Court CWJC No.3547 of 2026(2) dt.17-03-2026 3/3 incorporated either in the Admit Card or in the Result Sheet, therefore, the petitioner may be directed to file fresh representation giving details of her father, so that, appropriate necessary correction in the Result Sheet as also in the Admit Card can be made by the authorities of the Bihar School Examination Board.

Considering the aforesaid stand of Bihar School Examination Board, the petitioner is directed to make a fresh representation giving reference of the earlier representation with all supportive material showing her bona fide and as also the documents giving details of his father so that the necessary correction can be made by the by the authorities of the Bihar School Examination Board in the result sheet.

6. Accordingly, the petitioner is directed to file such representation within a period of one week from today and on filing of the said representation by the petitioner, the necessary order shall be passed by the Board within a further period of two weeks from filing of the representation.

7. The writ petition stands disposed of.
