By order dated 17.11.2017 while granting bail, the petitioner and the victim Shilpi Kumari were directed to appear in person on 24th of November, 2017. On 24th of November, 2017, the petitioner had appeared but the victim girl had not appeared, hence the provisional bail as granted was extended till today. The prosecution case, as lodged by the informant, is that his daughter, studding in B.A. Part-II was harassed by the petitioner and she went to bring note-book but did not return. It is alleged that the petitioner along with other co-accused has abducted his daughter.

It has been submitted by the learned counsel for the

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.43277 of 2017 (7) dt.13-12-2017 2/2 petitioner that he is innocent, bears no criminal antecedent, there was a love affair and both the petitioner and the victim girl had married in a temple but in spite of direction, the victim girl Shilpi Kumari has chosen not to appear.

Learned counsel for the State is present.

Considering the facts and circumstances and the materials on record, the provisional bail granted to the petitioner vide order dated 17.11.2017 is confirmed.
