The petitioner is in judicial custody in connection with Parihar P.S. Case No. 184 of 2021 for the offences under Sections 8, 20(B) (ii) (c), 21(c), 22(c), 23(c) of the Narcotic Drug and Psychotropic Substances Act.

As per the prosecution story, the police personal upon information that narcotic drugs are being smuggled from Nepal intercepted a three wheeler Tempo and sezied 155 K.G. of ganja. The petitioner was one of the occupant of the said tempo, who was arrested from the spot.

Taking into account the amount of seizure by the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.15595 of 2022(2) dt.11-07-2022 2/2 police, this Court is not inclined to grant any privilege to the petitioner and the bail application is hereby rejected. The Trial Court is hereby directed to expedite the trial and see to it that the same is taken to logical conclusion without any delay.
