1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. for the State.
2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 190, 191, 192, 132, 109, 121(1), 121(2), 125(a), 125(b), 262, 263 of the BNS, 2023.
3. Learned counsel petitioner submits that petitioner has antecedent of four cases and the informant alleges that police force reached the house of Tahir and Khalil to arrest them in connection with Sasaram (Mufassil) P.S. Case No. 194 of 2024 on 08.04.2025 at 10:00 PM, further both accused were apprehended, next alleges that their family members and villages gathered and started pelting stones and tried to snatch arms of the police and injured Havildar and constable Suniti and
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.16156 of 2026(3) dt.10-07-2026 2/3 butt of the rifle of Suniti was damaged and the accused persons freed both the accused and the Chowkidar identified the accused persons including the petitioner who were involved in the occurrence along with 20-25 unknown accused.
4. The case was taken up on 03.07.2026 and the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner was directed to file a supplementary affidavit bringing on record the relationship of the petitioner with Tahir Quraishi and Khalil Quraishi.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that a supplementary affidavit has been filed and relationship of the petitioner with Tahir and Khalil has been disclosed that petitioner is son of Tahir Quraishi and brother of Khalil Quraishi, it is further submitted that Tahir Quraishi was not an accused in Sasaram (Muffasil) P.S. Case No. 194 of 2024, it is further submitted that from perusal of the allegation as alleged in the FIR, it would manifest that allegation of assaulting the police personnel is general and omnibus in nature.
6. Learned A.P.P. for the State, Mr. Chandra Bhushan Prasad, vehemently opposes the anticipatory bail application of the petitioner and submits that petitioner is a criminal and is having of antecedent of four cases and in order to free his father

No.16156 of 2026(3) dt.10-07-2026 3/3 and brother from police custody committed the occurrence of assault leading to injury of Havildar and a woman Constable namely Suniti, it is further submitted that if petitioner is granted the privilege of anticipatory bail, he may abscond or try to tamper with evidence, as he has criminal antecedents.
7. Considering the submission made by the learned A.P.P. for the State, the Court is not inclined to extend the privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
8. This application stands rejected.
