2. The present writ application has been filed for a direction to the respondent authorities to pay the arrears of salary from 01.07.2009 to 29.02.2016 which was not paid to the petitioner due to latches on the part of the respondent nos. 7 and 8.
3. The petitioner was initially appointed on the vacant and sanctioned post of Panchayat Sevak vide Memo No. 82-
Patna High Court CWJC No.6839 of 2016 dt.04-12-2023 2/2 Mu/Panchayat dated 19.07.1990 issued by the District Magistrate, Muzaffarpur (respondent no. 4) and the petitioner was finally superannuated from the post in question with effect from 29.02.2016 and before retirement the petitioner has filed a detailed exhaustive representation through post before the District Magistrate, Muzaffarpur (respondent no. 4) stating therein that he has not paid the salary for the period in question i.e. 01.07.2009 to 29.02.2016 and the same is still pending before the Respondent No. 4.

Accordingly, the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the District Magistrate, Muzaffarpur (Respondent No. 4) to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation, which is pending before him, after grant of opportunity of hearing to the petitioner in accordance with law expeditiously and preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
