26-05-2016 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.
The petitioner apprehends his arrest in relation to Bhojpur Mahila P.S. Case No. 29 of 2016 registered under Sections 323, 498(A), 379/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.
The petitioner is the own nephew of the informant and basically allegation against the petitioner is to outrage the modesty of the informant. Learned counsel for the petitioner points out that the informant has filed cases against her entire family including her husband, though the petitioner and his
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.15915 of 2016 (3) dt.26-05-2016 father are separated for over a decade and living separately and have nothing to do with the informant. Be that as it may, in the event of his arrest/surrender before the court below within four weeks, let the petitioner, namely, Sonu Sharma, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand only) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Bhojpur at Ara, in connection with Bhojpur Mahila P.S. Case No. 29 of 2016, subject to conditions laid down under Section 438 (2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
