The petitioner seeks bail in Sahodra P.S. Case No. 21 of 2018 registered for the offence punishable under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Excise & Prohibition Act, 2016. Informant who is Assistant Commandant of S.S.B, in his written report has alleged that while he was on duty he got information about bringing of illicit liquor from Nepal to India and he along with other personnel came at Pillar No. 434/80 where he saw two persons coming on motorcycle to whom he stopped and on search recovered 60 Litre of illicit liquor. It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case on mere suspicion. Petitioner has got no criminal antecedent and is in

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.30127 of 2018(2) dt.16-05-2018 2/2 custody since 25.03.2018.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, let the petitioner named above be released on bail upon furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/-(ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge, Bettiah, West Champaran, in connection with Sahodra P.S. Case No. 21 of 2018.
