The Petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 149, 447, 341, 323, 324, 325, 307, 379, 504 of the Indian Penal Code.

Earlier, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner was dismissed as withdrawn vide order dated 16.01.2023. Petitioner has renewed his prayer for bail through this application.

As per F.I.R. petitioner is alleged to have caused grievous injury to one Md. Shahid, cousin father-in-law of the informant.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.20307 of 2023(2) dt.24-06-2023 2/2 the petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case. It is further submitted that due to petty dispute, free fight took place between the parties, case and counter case.

Learned A.P.P. for the State has opposed the bail petition of the petitioner on the ground that the injury sustained by the informant is grievous in nature.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances and the fact that the injury caused by the petitioner is grievous in nature, the prayer for anticipatory bail is rejected. (Prabhat Kumar Singh, J) sanjeev/- U T
