The petitioner, already in custody, seeks bail in connection with Korha P.S.Case No. 266 of 2017 registered under Sections 302 and 201/34 of the Indian penal Code. Allegation in brief is that informant's wife had gone in the night to a fair organised in the village along with her daughterin-law but at 11:00 O'clock, she returned back to home leaving her daughter-in-law, but did not reach home and later on informant learnt that petitioner and Subodh Sahani were seen along with his wife while returning back to village and dead body of his wife was found thrown in the river. Submission is that FIR was lodged after two days delay and accordingly on suspicion petitioner has been falsely implicated because he was seen coming with informant's wife from fair. Petitioner is a co-villager and he has no criminal

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.28072 of 2018(2) dt.09-05-2018 2/2 antecedent and is in custody since 21.08.2017. Having considered the aforesaid facts and circumstances, the petitioner, namely, Manar Sahni @ Mangal Sahni, is directed to be released on bail upon furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned CJM, Katihar in connection with Korha P.S. Case No. 266 of 2017.
