The petitioner seeks regular bail in Bikramganj P.S. Case No.165 of 2017 registered for the offence under Sections 272, 373 of the I.P.C. and Section 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

Allegation against the petitioner is of recovery of 28. ml. foreign liquor. Further appears from the record that the petitioner is accused in two more cases of similar nature.

Submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that he has remained in custody for 2 1⁄2

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.41930 of 2017 (3) dt.11-09-2017 2/2 months and two more cases have been lodged after lodging of the present case.

Heard learned A.P.P. also.

Having heard both sides and in view of the facts and circumstances, as stated above, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. However, trial court is directed to expedite the trial and conclude it within four months and if not concluded within the stipulated period, he will release the petitioner on bail to his satisfaction. With the aforesaid observation this application is disposed of.
