JUSTICE CHAKRADHARI SHARAN SINGH ORAL ORDER 20-07-2016 Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the State. This application for grant of anticipatory bail arises out of Sasaram (Agrer) P.S. Case No.845 of 2015, disclosing offences under Sections 147, 148, 149, 307, 353 and 342 of the Indian Penal Code.

Petitioners are named in the F.I.R. They are said to have attacked the police party. One Jawan of police party was allegedly abducted and attempt was made to snatch his rifle. The said Jawan somehow and other managed to return to the police station.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.19835 of 2016 (4) dt.20-07-2016 2/2 Considering the serious nature of allegation made against the petitioners, application for grant of anticipatory bail stands dismissed.

Petitioners are directed to surrender before the court below within four weeks from today and seek regular bail, if so advised. If they do so, their application for regular bail shall be considered on its own merit, without being prejudiced by rejection of present application for grant of anticipatory bail. If the petitioners appear before the court below and seek regular bail, their application for regular bail shall be considered on its own merits, without being prejudiced by rejection of present application.
