2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Bathnaha P.S. Case No. 284 of 2022 registered for the offence under Section 8/20(b)(ii)(c), 22(b), 23 of the Narcotic Drug and Psychotropic Substances Act.

3. As per the prosecution case, one Ajay Paswan was caught with 45 kg of Ganja and the name of the petitioner has transpired in this case on the confessional statement of Ajay Paswan.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and he is in custody since 6.2.2024.

5. Considering the aforesaid facts, this application is allowed.

6. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail after framing of charge on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Sessions Judge, Sitamarhi in connection with Bathnaha P.S. Case No. 284 of 2022.

7. As a condition of this order, the petitioner after being released on bail is directed to mark his attendance at Sonbarsa Police Station on first Sunday of each month. Any default in appearance at the police station will result in cancellation of bail bonds of the petitioner. (Sandeep Kumar, J) Vikas/- U T
