This is the second attempt for grant of regular bail on behalf of the petitioner inasmuch as earlier bail application of the petitioner was dismissed vide order dated 16.04.2021 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 7862/2021.

The allegation against the petitioner is that a country made pistol and three cartridges have been recovered from the possession of the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that application for bail of the petitioner was rejected by this Court giving liberty to renew the prayer for bail after six months.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.15645 of 2022(2) dt.06-04-2022 2/2 Learned counsel next submits that petitioner is in custody since 06.06.2020 and the charge-sheet in the matter has been submitted.

Regards being had to the submissions made by the parties and taking into consideration the fact that this is the second attempt for bail on behalf of the petitioner, he remained in custody since 06.06.2020 and the charge-sheet has been submitted, I am inclined to grant regular bail to the petitioner subject to the condition that petitioner will be well represented on each and every date in the trial and if he fails to do so on two consecutive dates, his bail bonds will be liable to be cancelled. Accordingly, let the petitioner, namely, MONU KUMAR @ SHIVNATH KUNWAR @ MONU @ SHIVNATH be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 25,000/- (Twenty-five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Magistrate- 1st Class, Begusarai/the court concerned in connection with Begusarai Town PS Case No. 284/2020.
