Petitioner seeks bail in connection with Dagarua P.S. Case No. 75 of 2019 registered for the offence punishable under sections 272, 273 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 30(a), 41, 47 of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

Petitioner has earlier moved this Court for grant of bail in Cr. Misc. No. 45328 of 2019, which was rejected vide order dated 29.07.2019 (Annexure-1) with liberty to renew his prayer for bail after six months in case no substantial progress is made in the trial.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.13488 of 2020(2) dt.02-03-2020 2/2 submits that there is no substantial progress in the trial of the case and the petitioner who is a man of clean antecedent is languishing in custody since 07.01.2020.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions advanced on behalf of the parties, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Additional Sessions Judge II-cum-Special Judge, Excise, Purnia in connection with Dagarua P.S.
