A writ in nature of Certiorari or any other appropriate writ / writs, order / orders for quashing the order dated 06.05.2023 passed in Anganbadi Appeal Case No. 33 of 2021-22 by the learned Collector-cum-District Magistrate, East Champaran, Motihari, whereby and whereunder the learned Collector dismissed the Appeal filed by the petitioner and confirmed the order dated 18.11.2021 passed by the District Programme

Patna High Court CWJC No.4116 of 2024(2) dt.22-03-2024 2/2 Officer, East Champaran, Motihari, by the learned D.P.O. found the appointment of the Respondent No. 6 illegal but there was no direction with regard to the appointment of the petitioner whose position stand 2nd in the merit list.

(B)(i). To appoint the petitioner on the post of Anganbari Sevika at Anganbari Centre No. 223 situated at Ward No. 02, Village Dhangadhwa, Kaudihar, Raxaul, District and pay the remuneration thereon."

After some arguments, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law including that of filing a suit before the learned Civil Court having competent jurisdiction. Liberty, so sought, is granted. 3.

The writ petition stands disposed off.
