The petitioner is languishing in custody in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 323, 498(A)/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act. The accusation is of torture for non-fulfillment of the dowry demand.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that petitioner is innocent and he has falsely been implicated in this case. The petitioner is husband of

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.19480 of 2023(2) dt.18-05-2023 2/2 the informant. There is general and omnibus allegation against the petitioner. The petitioner is still ready to keep the informant as wife with full dignity and honour. The petitioner is languishing in custody since 21.11.2022.

Considering the facts aforesaid and the period under custody, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousands) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st, Pupri, Sitamarhi in connection with Bajpatti P.S. Case No. 351 of 2022.
