The petitioner is languishing in custody for the offence punishable under Section 304B/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
The petitioner is husband of the victim of dowry death. He is in custody since 13.06.2016. Earlier this Court had refused the prayer for bail, vide Annexure-1, with a direction to the learned trial Court to expedite the trial. Submission is that the informant has already been examined during trial and he has specifically stated that there was never any illegal demand nor the victim had ever been tortured in the matrimonial house.

No.24589 of 2018 (2) dt.02-05-2018 Considering the period already undergone by the petitioner and the nature of evidence during trial, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Court-below where the case is pending in connection with S.T. No.175 of 2017, arising out of Yogapatti (Sanichari) P.S. Case No.161 of 2016, with condition that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation/trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
