Petitioner apprehends arrest in connection with Wazirganj P.S. Case No. 407 of 2019 registered for the offences punishable under sections 341, 324, 308, 504, 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners, who are innocent and have no criminal antecedent, have been falsely implicated in this case. They have not committed any offence as alleged in the first information report. Both petitioners are sick persons and petitioner no. 1 is about 80 years old.

No.14064 of 2020(4) dt.18-09-2020 2/2 Learned A.P.P. appearing for the State as also the learned counsel appearing for the informant opposes the prayer for bail of the petitioner and submits that petitioners are named accused. Injury report fully supports the allegations. He, therefore, submits that petitioners do not deserve to be granted the privilege of anticipatory bail.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions advanced on behalf of the parties, this Court is not inclined to grant the privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioners.
