JUSTICE ASHUTOSH KUMAR ORAL JUDGMENT Date : 16-05-2019 The petitioner seeks a direction to the respondent authorities to pay him at a higher rate than the rate at which he has been paid for the work that he has rendered as a Chowkidar.

2. From the records of this case, it appears that

Patna High Court CWJC No.8189 of 2019 dt.16-05-2019 2/2 the petitioner was paid @ Rs. 61/- per day for the number of days that he had served. The salary of the Chowkidars was fixed only in the year 2006 and before that, such Chowkidars were paid on daily-wages basis at the rate which was fixed.

3. No case has been made out by the learned counsel for the petitioner for this Court to interfere with the order impugned in the present petition or to pass any direction to the respondents.

4. The petition is accordingly dismissed.
