Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P for the State.

The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in connection with Andhramath P.S. Case No. 90 of 2021 dated 07.08.2021 registered for the offences punishable under sections 366 and 363 of the Indian Penal Code. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner is alleged to have abducted the informant's daughter for the purpose of marriage with the aid of the other co-accused persons. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the

Learned counsel has further submitted that the victim in her statement recorded under section 164 of the Cr.P.C. has stated that the petitioner had forcibly abducted her and took her to Surat and confined in a room but the victim girl has not raised any alarm while she was being taken to Surat. Learned counsel has further submitted that there was love affair between the parties. The petitioner has clean antecedent as stated in para 3 of the bail petition. The petitioner is in custody since 17.09.2022. Learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the bail petition of the petitioner.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case as well as the period of custody, the petitioner above-named, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court concerned, Jhanjharpur, Madhubani in connection with Andhramath P.S. Case No. 90 of 2021.

The application stands allowed.
