The petitioner seeks regular bail in G.O. P.S. Case No.214 of 2017 registered for the offence under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act,2016.

Allegation against the petitioner is of recovery of 19.800 liters Nepali liquor from his possession and he is accused in one more case of similar nature but he is on bail. Submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that he is in custody since 8.6.2017.

Heard learned A.P.P. also.

Having heard both sides and in view of the facts and circumstances, as stated above, at this stage, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. However, trial court is directed to

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.41875 of 2017 (2) dt.11-09-2017 2/2 expedite the trial and conclude within a period of four months, if not concluded, the petitioner will be released on bail to his satisfaction.

With the aforesaid observation this application is disposed of.
