The petitioner, a lady and is in custody since 24.06.2017 in Barauni ( Chakiya) P.S. Case No. 230 of 2017 registered for the offence under Section 188 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 and Section 30(a) of the Bihar Excise Amendment Act, 2016 has prayed for grant of bail .

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner was allegedly apprehended as if she was carrying two bags one over her head and another in her hand carrying total 30 liters of liquor prepared in the state of Jharkhand. By way of referring to the statement made in paragraph no. 3 of the petition he submits that petitioner is having clean antecedent and

Considering the nature of accusation, clean antecedent , period of custody as well as the fact that petitioner is a lady, let the petitioner Neelam Devi be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (rupees ten thousand ) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Sri Anil Kumar Sinha, learned Addl. Sessions Judge 7th , Begusarai -cumSpl. Judge, Bihar Prohibition & Excise Act , 2016 / concerned court in connection with Barauni (Chakiya ) P.S. Case No. 230 of 2017.
