The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Tajpur (Halai) P.S. Case No. 184/2016 dated 15.06.2016 instituted for the offence under Section 379 of the Indian Penal Code. The pick-up van of the informant was taken away by two miscreants. The petitioner is said to have been arrested with a looted motorcycle and thereafter, he has given a disclosure that he too was involved in the loot of the pick-up van of the informant. The petitioner is in custody since 23.08.2016 and in the other cases, in which he had earlier been made accused, he has been granted bail.
Considering the period of custody of the petitioner, he is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bond of Rs.
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.47933 of 2017 (5) dt.03-01-2018 2/2 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate I, Samastipur in connection with Tajpur (Halai) P.S. Case No. 184/2016.
