The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Andhramath P.S. Case No. 17 of 2018 for the offences punishable under Sections 272, 273 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition & Excise Act, 2016. The allegation is regarding recovery of 98.400 liters of illicit liquor from motorcycle of the petitioner. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the present case and is having a clean antecedent. It is further submitted that the petitioner is not likely to tamper with the evidence in case he is released on bail. The petitioner is stated to be languishing in custody since 28.2.2018.

No.30779 of 2018 (2) dt.22-05-2018 2/2 Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail, on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge II, Madhubani cum Special Judge, Excise Act, Madhubani in connection with Andhramath P.S. Case No. 17 of 2018.
