The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Nagarnausha P.S. Case No. 33 of 2018 for the offences punishable under Section(s) 341, 323, 307, 353 &34 of the Indian Penal Code. The case of the prosecution is that on 16.03.2018, the informant along with other officials had gone to the village to discharge their duties regarding connecting of every house with electric power and when they reached at the house of one Smt. Parwati Devi, then the said Parwati Devi along with 15 unknown persons had assaulted on the back of the informant as well as others resulting in grievous injury to the informant & others. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that there is

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.29716 of 2018 (2) dt.23-05-2018 2/2 no allegation of any assault or overtact as far as the petitioner is concerned & he is having a clean antecedent. On a query being made by the Court, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is ready to deposit a sum of Rs.25,000/- with the Nazarat concerned for the purposes of grant of privilege of regular bail.

The learned counsel for the South Bihar Power Distribution Company Ltd. has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, it is directed that the petitioner shall deposit a sum of Rs.25,000/- before the Nazarat of the concerned Court and onbeing depositing the same, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (rupees Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Hilsa, Nalanda in connection with Nagarnausa P.S.
