The petitioners, namely, Srikant Singh @ Srikant Singh Yadav, Ramashish Singh @ Ramashish Yadav and Ramakant Singh @ Ramakant Yadav, apprehend their arrest in a case under Sections 341, 323, 504, 326, 307, 379 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Informant Vindhyachal Yadav alleged that while he was taking his tractor to the field for cultivation, the petitioners intercepted and brutally assaulted him with knife and lathi. It is submitted that there is a case and counter-case. Ramashish Singh (petitioner no. 2) lodged Rajpur P.S. Case No. 225/15 against the informant and others alleging that while Srikant Singh (uncle of petitioner no. 2) had gone to keep a watch on the paddy crop, the

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.17199 of 2016 (2) dt.16-05-2016 2/2 informant and others brutally assaulted him. Srikant Singh got grievous injuries whereas the informant got superficial lacerated wounds. The injuries sustained by the informant are simple in nature.

Considering the facts that there is a case and countercase and the informant got simple injuries, the above named petitioners, in the event of their arrest or surrender before the learned court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt / production of a copy of this order, are directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Sri P.K. Rai, ACJM VII, Buxar in Rajpur P.S. Case No. 226/2015, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure. (Prabhat Kumar Jha, J) Dilip/- U T
