By order dated 26.05.2022, the petitioner was granted provisional anticipatory bail by a co-ordinate Bench of this Court. Thereafter on 21.07.2022 the matter was referred to the Mediation Centre, Patna High Court by this Court considering the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner that there is a possibility of settlement between the parties. From perusal of the Mediator's Report dated 31.08.2022, it appears that the parties have failed to settle their dispute through process of mediation.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the matter relates to a business transaction between the parties and O.P. No.2 has already filed a case against this petitioner under

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.25599 of 2021(5) dt.26-09-2022 2/2 Section 138 of the N.I. Act and Section 420 of the Indian Penal Code.

Considering the fact that the matter relates to a business transaction between the parties, the provisional anticipatory bail granted to the petitioner on 26.05.2022 is hereby confirmed.
