On confidential information raid was conducted and during course thereof, three persons, namely, Upendra Sah, Umesh Sah and Sanjeet Poddar were apprehended. They have also disclosed identity of his associate as Md. Jalal, Manoj Rai who managed to escape. Furthermore, they have also identified the petitioner to be ring leader staying at hotel where raid was conducted and during course of search of the room articles in terms of seizure list were recovered. Though petitioner has got criminal antecedent being involved in five cases of similar nature, considering the period of detention since 25.05.2017 petitioner Shankar Singh is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/-(ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned A.C.J.M.(Railway),
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.39936 of 2017 (2) dt.20-09-2017 Barauni, Begusarai in connection with Barauni P.S. Case No.92/2017, with a condition that learned lower court will trace out genuineness as well as soundness of the bailor who will undertake that henceforth petitioner will not indulge himself in such kind of activity.
