====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE SATYAVRAT VERMA ORAL ORDER 22-11-2021 Heard the learned Advocate for the petitioner and the learned APP for the State.

The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Bettiah (Town) P. S. Case No.220 of 2020, instituted for the offences under Sections 341, 323, 324, 307, 504, 506/ 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The petitioner is in custody since 13.08.2020 and charge-sheet has been submitted in this case. Petitioner has one case as mentioned in Para-3 of the bail petition. According to the F.I.R., petitioner along with two others assaulted Laxman Prasad by knife on his head and injury report shows five incised wounds.

Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.25731 of 2021(3) dt.22-11-2021 2/2 nature of injury is simple and further submits that from the reading of F.I.R. itself, it would manifest that the fight between the informant side and the side of the petitioner took place all of a sudden.

Learned A.P.P. vehemently opposes the bail application.

Considering the period of custody and the nature of injury to be found in simple, the petitioner, above-named, is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail-bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned C.J.M., Bettiah, West Champaran in connection with Bettiah (Town) P. S. Case No.220 of 2020.

The application stands allowed.
