1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1. That the present application is being filed for issuance of an appropriate writ/writs, order/orders, direction/directions to the concerned Respondent authorities towards appointment of the petitioner on the post of Aanganwadi Sewika at the Anganwadi Centre325, Block- Paroo, Ward No. 09, Gram Panchayat- Pandeh; District- Muzaffarpur as the petitioner was placed at Serial No.2 in the Merit List, consequently Respondent No. 7 (Sweety

Patna High Court CWJC No.4967 of 2024(2) dt.04-04-2024 2/3 Kumari) was selected as Anganwadi Sewika but which later on revealed on the complain and verification that her Educational Certificate was forged, hence she was terminated and thereafter under Rule of I. C. D. S. Department petitioner was selected/ appointed as Aanganwadi Sewika vide letter no. 325 dated 25.06.2021 (Annexure-7) issued under the Signature of C.D.P.O., Paroo, ICDS, Paroo and thereafter the District Programme Officer, Muzaffarpur cancelled the selection of the petitioner merely on the basis that the selection letter was not signed by the Mahila Supervisor in arbitrary manner."

2. At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks a direction upon the District Magistrate, Muzaffarpur, to dispose off the appeal filed by the petitioner before the District Magistrate, Muzaffarpur, within a stipulated time frame.

3. The learned counsel for the respondent-State submits that in case any appeal has been filed by the petitioner and is still pending, the same would definitely be disposed off within a stipulated time frame.

4. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the District Magistrate, Muzaffarpur, to dispose off the appeal filed by the petitioner, in case the same has actually been filed and is still pending consideration, by

Patna High Court CWJC No.4967 of 2024(2) dt.04-04-2024 3/3 passing a reasoned and a speaking order, in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks of receipt/production of a copy of this order.

5. The writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
