This application is for grant of regular bail in connection with Madanpur P.S.Case No.106 of 2017, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 25(1-b)a/26 of the Arms Act & C.L.A. Act.

Allegation against the petitioner is of recovery of country-made Pistol and cartridges. It further appears from perusal of para 3 of the petition that he is accused in seven other cases. Submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that he has been falsely implicated in this case only due to the fact that he has criminal antecedent and he is in custody for about four months.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.39281 of 2017 (3) dt.07-09-2017 2/2 Heard learned A.P.P. also.

Having heard both sides and in view of allegation of recovery of arms as well as criminal antecedent of the petitioner, at this stage, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner, however, the learned trial court is directed to expedite the trial and try to conclude it within a period of seven months and if not concluded, the petitioner is at liberty to renew his prayer for bail before the court concerned.

With the aforesaid observation, this application is dismissed.
