The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Saharsa P.S. Case no. 480 of 2017, registered under Sections 384 and 385 of the Indian Penal Code. The accusation is of demanding of ransom to the informant by the petitioner from jail custody. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner was in custody and due to enmity the informant lodged the present case. Further submission is that dispute between the parties has been settled and informant has filed the compromise petition in the court of Chief Judicial Magistrate, on 13.07.2018, which would appear from Annexure-2.

No.16429 of 2019(3) dt.20-06-2019 2/2 Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, let the above named petitioner, be released on bail, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of four weeks from today, on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Saharsa in connection with Saharsa P.S. Case No. 480 of 2017, one of the sureties must be parents/close relative of the petitioner, subject to the condition as laid down under Section 438 (2) of the Cr.P.C..
