The petitioner, already in custody, seeks bail in connection with Araria P.S.Case No. 689 of 2017 registered under Sections 380 and 457 of the Indian penal Code. Submission is that FIR is against unknown and except the so-called confessional statement of the petitioner before the police regarding his involvement, there is no other material against him and no incriminating article has been recovered from his possession and petitioner has been in custody since 16.11.2017.

Having considered the aforesaid facts and circumstances, the petitioner, namely, Badal Mallik @ Badal Kumar, is directed to be released on bail upon furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Mr. S.K.Sharma, J.M. 1st Class, Araria in connection with Araria
