Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Section 30A of the Bihar Excise Amendment Act, 2016.

Submission is that 16 liters of liquor was allegedly recovered from the house of the petitioner. Petitioner has got no criminal antecedent. He is in custody since 09.02.2020. There is no material to substantiate that petitioner is going to tamper with the evidence or hamper the trial.

Considering the entire facts aforesaid, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail after framing of the charge or after completion two months of custody

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.14821 of 2020(2) dt.03-03-2020 2/2 whichever is earlier on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Case No.53C3(Excise)/2020, subject to the condition that both bailors shall be resident of territorial jurisdiction of the learned court below and further the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation/trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.

The learned Trial Court is directed to expedite the framing of charge.
