The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Mairwa P.S. Case No. 75 of 2018 for the offences punishable under Sections 272, 273 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 30(a), 41 (i) of the Bihar Prohibition & Excise Act, 2016. The allegation is regarding recovery of 4 liters of illicit liquor from the petitioner when he was apprehended by the police.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the present case and is languishing in custody since 14.3.2018.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.30789 of 2018 (2) dt.22-05-2018 2/2 bail, on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned 2nd Additional Sessions Judge cum Special Judge, Excise, Siwan in connection with Mairwa P.S. Case No. 75 of 2018.
