The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Siwan Town P.S. Case No.203 of 2018 for the offences punishable under Section(s) 30(a)/36 of the Bihar Excise and Prohibition of Act, 2016.

The allegation is regarding recovery of 6.3 liters of illicit liquor from the petitioner.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and in fact no recovery has been made from the conscious possession of the petitioner. It is further submitted that the petitioner is an accused in two other cases, however he is on bail in both the cases. The petitioner is said to be languishing in custody since 05.02.2018.

No.31581 of 2018 (2) dt.30-05-2018 2/2 Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (rupees Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge-IInd-cum-Special Judge, Excise, Siwan, in connection with Siwan Town P.S. Case No. 203 of 2018.
