2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Simultala P.S. Case No. 71 of 2024 registered for the offence under Sections 103(1), 61(2) and 3(5) of B.N.S.

3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner is the assailant of the deceased.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has not committed any offence. The petitioner is in custody since 08.8.2025.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail and submitted that the post-mortem report supports the allegation against the petitioner.

6. Considering the gravity of the offence and the

7. Accordingly, this application for regular bail is hereby dismissed.
