Petitioner has participated in the process of selection initiated by Advertisement No 2 of 2004.
Respondents have filed a counter affidavit. It is submitted that none, below the petitioner in merit, has been appointed. The last appointed candidate of the general category has obtained 14 marks and the petitioner, also being a general category candidate, has got 13 marks and, as such, was not successful on account of being inferior in merit to the last
Patna High Court CWJC No.11720 of 2014(2) dt.11-02-2019 2/2 selected person. Learned counsel for the State, therefore, submits that there is no merit in the writ petition. Since, none appears on behalf of the writ petitioner, without going into the merits of the submission advanced by the learned State Counsel, writ petition is dismissed for want of prosecution.
