The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Khagaria (Muffasil) P.S. Case No. 211/18 for the offences punishable under Sections 272 & 273/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition & Excise Act, 2016.

The allegation is regarding recovery of 74.880 liters of illicit liquor from various vehicles and the name of the petitioner has transpired during the course of confessional statement made by the arrested persons.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that neither any recovery has been made from the conscious possession of the petitioner nor the petitioner is the owner of any of the said

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge-IIIrd-cum-Special Judge, Excise, Khagaria in connection with Khagaria (Muffasil) P.S. Case No. 211 of 2018.
