1. Heard learned counsel for the parties.

2. The petitioner has renewed his prayer for grant of regular bail in connection with Sessions Trial no. 9 of 2024, arising out of Kajra P.S Case no. 83 of 2023 registered under sections 307, 379, 323, 354B, 341, 504 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, it is stated that over a dispute amongst the extended family members the petitioner gave a blow with a rod on the head of the informant leading to grievous injuries.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the the earlier application for bail of the petitioner was rejected vide order dated 19.10.2023 passed in Cr. Misc. no.66994 of 2023 giving liberty to the petitioner to renew his prayer for bail after

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.18323 of 2024(2) dt.13-03-2024 2/2 completing one year in custody or after framing of charge, whichever is earlier. It is submitted that charge has been framed against the petitioner on 25.1.2024 in Sessions Trial no. 9 of 2024. The petitioner is in custody since 21.6.2023 and undertakes to cooperate in the trial.

5. The prayer for bail is opposed by learned A.P.P for the State.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case, the observation given to the petitioner in the earlier order of rejection dated 19.10.2023 and charge having been framed against the petitioner on 25.1.2024 as stated in paragraph no. 8 of the petition, the petitioner who is in custody since 21.6.2023 is directed to be enlarged on bail in connection with Sessions Trial no. 9 of 2024 (arising out of Kajra P.S Case no.83 of 2023) on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Court of Sessions Judge, Lakhisarai.
