2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Gaurichak P.S. Case No. 03 of 2026 registered for the offence under Sections 8(c)/21(b) of the NDPS Act.

3. According to the prosecution, a total of 31.56 grams of smack was recovered from the accused persons, out of which 7.17 grams were recovered from the possession of the petitioner.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has not committed any offence. Petitioner is in custody since 03.01.2026.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.

6. Considering the recovery of more than a small quantity, this Court is not inclined to grant regular bail to the petitioner.

7. Accordingly, this application for regular bail stands rejected for the present.
